Today Toni from Make It Perfect is sharing a gorgeous Poppy Tunic in nani IRO sateen with us for nani IRO month. Toni is the designer of the Make It Perfect sewing patterns and the author of the sewing book by the same name. Her patterns are fun and playful and, having sewn from several myself, I highly recommend them. She recently released a pattern for classic flat front women’s shorts which would look great made up in linen or chambray, or maybe even a nani IRO print ๐
Toni has always been very supportive of miss matatabi and I’m so grateful for that! It has been really lovely to connect with her over a shared love of fabric and sewing and it’s always fun emailing with a fellow Australian. Helps keep some of the homesickness at bay ๐ Oh, and she lives in Tasmania which just happens to be one of my dreamy “someday I’ll live there” places. If you haven’t been to Tasmania then you probably need to go because it’s a pretty special place. Right, Toni?
You can see more of Toni’s nani IRO Poppy tunic, read what she thinks about sateen (spoiler alert : it’s the bees knees, yo!) and get to know her a bit better on her blog.
nani IRO month continues tomorrow! If you would like to join in on instagram donโt forget to use the hashtags #ilovenaniiro and #naniiromonth to share your love for nani IRO with everyone. See you soon!
