We are just over the half-way point in nani IRO month! How are you going? Are you still with us? Today’s nani IRO outfit is by someone I have a whole lot of love for, Sanae Ishida! Good stuff always happens when Sanae sews and today is no exception. Look at her dress!
I remember a little over a year ago, Sanae and I were emailing back and forth and she mentioned she wanted to start sewing for herself more. If I said something like that it would probably manifest as a whole lot of patterns waiting to be cut out, and piles of washed fabric taunting me from the corner of my sewing space. When Sanae says she wants to sew more for herself, she does it! Huge respect.
As well as making gorgeous clothes for her daughter and herself she is currently writing and illustrating a children’s book and I have no doubt it will be beautiful. I really admire Sanae’s writing. She shares her thoughts and vulnerabilities with such endearing honesty and wit it is impossible to read her blog and not fall in love.
Visit Sanae to see more of her nani IRO dress and learn more about her here!
nani IRO month continues tomorrow! If you would like to join in on instagram don’t forget to use the hashtags #ilovenaniiro and #naniiromonth to share your love for nani IRO with everyone. See you soon!
