Its far too difficult to choose one person, because every day I am inspired by another talented designer. With the internet opening the entire design world to simply a click, I probably can’t even spell the names of the Japanese, or Russian, or Latin American designers that I have drooled over their work. Those Bloggers that give of their time and talent to add tutorials, I will forever be in their debt.

There are a lot of people in the quilty world who inspire me – Sarah Fielke, Lori Holt, Red Pepper Quilts….. but it is the local girls from my quilting group whom I really admire – they have been quilting for years, do gorgeous modern quilts and are very loving and patient in teaching me all their knowledge.

I think Ayumi from the Pink Penguin is the one who inspires me the most. Her blog introduced me to so many things, from Japanese fabric designers like Kumiko Fujita, to foundation paper piecing, and other bloggers who inspire her, she is an amazing resource.
I really like to follow Camille Roskelley and Elizabeth Hartman, however there are many others. Thanks so much!

It’s not one person, but I’d say the online quilting community in general. Every single day I find something – a quilt, a fabric, a blog post – something that inspires me and gets my creative energy flowing.
My kids inspire me the most! They give me great ideas and make me want to sew more! 🙂

I love reading blogs but lately most of my inspiration has come from sewing groups on FB- mostly the women on the PAB Pattern Shop page. It’s such a positive group where everyone is very helpful.
I would have to say one of my online quilty besties Kristy – a single mum who designs so many amazing paper piecing patterns and sews so much and am just in awe of her time management skills, lol!
I am most inspired by my local sewing ladies, Emily, Jo and Susy, spending time sewing with them is better than any blog or book!
